MORE ABOUT HEATHER SKY
Heather is an E-RYT 500-hour Yoga Alliance Certified yoga instructor & designated YACEP with a unique emphasis in evidence-based explorative movement and nondiagnostic yoga therapeutics.
Yoga was never a discipline Heather had considered, until her life took an unexpected turn and she found herself seeking out a grounding practice to reconnect and find peace within. Eventually she reached a point where she wanted to share the transformative power she had experienced through her own dedicated yoga practice, not realizing that decision would forever change the trajectory of her path. Heather has always had a veracious love of learning, and considers herself an eternal student and seeker—continually attending trainings, immersions, and workshops to improve her understanding of the biomechanics of the body. She is also continually pushing the edge of understanding through her own autodidactic methodology. She is emphatically passionate about teaching, and is so grateful for the opportunity she has to share her love of yoga, while creating connections with fellow practitioners in various communities.
Heather offers hers deepest gratitude to the teachers who have impacted her practice and influenced her teaching path, including (but not limited to): Sean Haleen, Adam Ballenger, Kimberly Achelis-Hoggan, Dana Levy, and Alexandria Crow.
"The body benefits from movement, and the mind benefits from stillness."
